Is the newspaper in on the conspiracy too?!?!

Mar 30, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

Being a commuter myself, I didn’t even think to look at the newspaper I read everyday. Found in the classified section, there lay clues right under my nose.

MIP Metro Ad Pages 3 scans_Page_1

After collecting what seemed like endless amounts of newspapers over a two month period, I came to this conclusion….

A MURDER CREATES A STRONG CODE THAT TRIPS AND DISPUTES.

DEATH DESCRIBES A BICYCLE THAT IS EPICENE AND PASSING.

ANDROGYNOUS CLUES TAUNT AND CALCULATE THEIR EQUIVALENT GENDER, THEIR DAILY NUMBER.

A SLOGAN EQUALS A BIBLE AT A LIP-SYNC CEREMONY.

A BEARD OF RETRIBUTION SHARPENS THE LOVE MUSTACHE AND PICKS MUSIC FOR A GROUP FUGUE.

SCATTER THE FIRST SONG IN THE WORLD AND FOLLOW THE CRISIS ON A WELL TEMPERED BIKE.

More YYZ & XXY

Mar 30, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

To follow up on my earlier post about encountering random commuters who keep doing ASL signs — sometimes YYZ, sometimes XXY.

In seeing more commuters use these signs, I started to think about the specific letters and order of letters being signed to me. YYZ is Toronto. Maybe there’s something in referencing Toronto. Or even more the idea of what XX and XY means with respect to gender. Or furthermore that XXY is often used to represent intersex. A theme that is discussed in the 2007 Argentine film of the same name.

Then through these news reports, the ASL signs continued. Similar to the Fugues, I began to piece together the ones I could find on the screens. It was amazing what I discovered.

The Highlighted Green Opera

Mar 30, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

The other night I was on my way back home from the Opera, Orfeo ed Eurydice. I know it might seem crazy to think, how could this young, bike courier could like Opera?? Well you’d be surprised what you learn about someone. Opera was first brought to my attention by my boss at my courier job. She loves it and scored me tickets a while back. I’ve been hooked ever since.

On this one particular evening, transit kept getting delayed with a snowstorm sweeping through Passing and disrupting commuters all across the city. While on the subway, the strangest thing began to happen. As my subway train was rerouted again and again, I kept seeing posters of Mars. Maybe all this thinking about him has made me delirious. But I was sure of what I was seeing. So much so that I took out my phone and started snapping some photos as we flew by.

Once I got home, I went online and began to search Operas and the murder of my best friend to see if there was any link. I came to discover citizen detectives had been uploading operatic Fugues and linking them with Mars’ murder. Furthermore, there were highlighted words in each operatic Fugue. After hours of going through each one, I collected them all and spelled out what seems to be a clue to the murder….

1 Venere

Waldorf and Statler give their two cents…

Mar 30, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

TMS-Statler&Waldorf-BalconyBox

Arguably two of the greatest critics of all time filled me in on their thoughts about Mars’ murder.

Who murdered Mars?
W: I wish someone would come and murder us already.
S: Hahaha
W: Where’d you even hear about this?
S: I think on the Passing subway platform screens.
W: You don’t ride the subway.
S: Fine, I saw it online.
W: On where?
S: Oh forget it.
W: Well I say it was Kermit.
S: Oh yeah…. he’s always riding bikes.

What made you come to this conclusion?
W: Well the first clue is that it’s silent.
S: And the second is that it’s in black and white.
W: And thirdly there is opera.
S: These aren’t clues, just observations.
W: Well didn’t that skinny guy from the CBC say it had something do with a hair clip?
S: You mean Ron Maclean?
W: No the other one…with curly hair.

What’s the connection between the psychological fugue state and the musical fugue compositional form?
W: What’s a fugue state?
S: How should I know?
W: Well we should put an answer… it’s worth 2 points.
S: Well… a psychological fugue state is sometimes associated with a new identity….
W: And a musical fugue?
S: Well it’s like opera or something. It uses at least two voices to build on a theme.
W: Have you been on Wikipedia again?
S: Wiki-wha?
W: Oh I don’t know…. Go fugue yourself?
S & W: Hahahaha

Continuing with celebrities

Mar 30, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

While commuting this morning, I happened to notice Andrew Dice Clay on the subway here in Passing. Yes the one and only Andrew Dice Clay. One might think “hey what is the Diceman doing in Passing?” Well I think it seems fairly obvious that the once highly successful comedian has some what fallen off in recent years and is booking gigs where ever he can. When I approached him and questioned his thoughts about the murder everyone is talking about, his answers seemed as brash and offensive as ever.

Who is the murderer?
Who gives a fuck, what’s the difference, jerk-off face did it.

How’d you come to that conclusion?
I don’t give a fuck. The guy with the jerk-off looking face helped me figure it out you asshole!

Did you happen to see any ASL signs around like I did
You mean any Asshole Slut Lickers? I don’t give a fuck because jerk-off face did it.

The detective on the case, Detective Epicene, posted some of the clues online? Did you see any of these on your phone?
Phones are for assholes. I don’t even go to parties anymore because all you people do is talk about your phones “oh, look at my phone” that’s you today. Look at my asshole.

Speaking of fugue states….

I even approached famous people with their take on the happenings in Passing. When I asked Madonna what the connection is between a psychological fugue state and a musical fugue compositional form, she had one reply…..

More signs…..

Mar 8, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

I was watching the latest news coverage on the monitor when suddenly I was given another sign…..literally.

XXY, YYZ, XXY? It seems to be more than just three strangers subtitling my viewing experience. It has to do with Mars. It has to do with the mystery.

Mars Brito Lives?!?

Mar 8, 2013 | Posted by: in Uncategorized |

I thought for sure I came across Mars while walking the subway. First in a poster, than in person and finally on the screens. It couldn’t have been him tho, could it?

Not everyone wants to solve the mystery…..

While I searched for clues and tried to solve the mystery, other people were too busy to find answers. At least returning items to the library is a good excuse…..
